When did you start playing and on what instrument?

Baritone in 1955

 

Who was your inspiration when you started playing?

With no social media or TV, and living in a rural area there was no one to act as inspiration. Later as I grew into brass bands and playing horn Gordon Higginbottom became one to inspire to. Now as a Bass Trombonist I listen to many different players to gain inspiration.

 

Why do you enjoy playing at Littleport?

I enjoy the fellowship but more importantly the musical training from the middle and band members respectively

 

What would you like to achieve with Littleport?

My ambition is to win a contest and help the band return to Section 1

 

What secret conspiracy would you like to start?

I'm sorry to say my imagination doesn't run that far!

 

How do you feel about putting pineapple on pizza?

Pineapples are for dessert

 

What kind of secret society would you like to start?

One where everyone says I'm the worlds number one Bass Trombonist :)
