What year did you join Littleport? 

I was in the band a few years back but rejoined 2021

 

When did you start playing and on what instrument? 

I started a long long time ago in my teens on horn with Shirley Band in the Midlands and Epsom and Ewell in Surrey.  After a break I started again on baritone and euph with Waterbeach but had to take a break again. Got a call in Dec 2021 and quickly realised you cant under estimate 2nd horn these days but enjoying the challenge!

 

Who was your inspiration when you started playing? 

My dad.  He will always be my inspiration for giving it a go.  He played well into his 80's, still producing a beautiful tone on bass.

 

Why do you enjoy playing at Littleport

 I've been made to feel so welcome by everyone and enjoying the challenge.

Re-discover my love of banding

Im too old for secrets

 

How do you feel about putting pineapple on pizza? 

 No, just plain no!

 

What kind of secret society would you like to start? 

Its no secret but Friday night, wine night should be a law, oh unless there is a contest on Saturday!!
