When did you join Littleport Brass?  -

I first joined Littleport Brass in 2016

 

When did you start playing and on what instrument?

I started playing in 2011, which was on the cornet.

 

Who was your inspiration when you started playing?

My inspiration when starting to play was Miles Davis, having listened to his music from a very young age.   

 

Why do you enjoy playing at Littleport?

I enjoy playing with a fantastic group of players, the constant challenge to improve my playing and being able to perform in front of loads of people over the course of the year.  

 

What has been your most enjoyable moment so far with Littleport in terms of music performed, social events, contests or concerts?

My favourite moment has been playing at Oxford in 2018 with a great program.  Really enjoyed that contest! 

 

What would you like to achieve with Littleport in the future?

 To move up through the sections! 

 

Away from Littleport what else do you like to do?

Away from Littleport, I am a freelance audio engineer and have the privilege to work with many great acts including top orchestras like the Royal Philharmonic as well as local indie bands.  In addition to this I am studying BA (Hons) Creative and Commercial Music at the University of Suffolk.
