When did you start playing and on what instrument?

1975 - Cornet

 

Who was your inspiration when you started playing?

James Watson and Mr Holden (my first teacher)

Why do you enjoy playing at Littleport?

They are a lovely bunch of people who work really hard,  but like a good laugh too

 

What has been your most enjoyable moment so far with Littleport in terms of music performed, social events, contests or concerts?

Ely Christmas concerts are something to behold, loved the entertainment contest  (Bolsover) when we came second and the one before (Oxford) when I achieved the best soloist

What would you like to achieve with Littleport in the future?

To get as far as we can in the rankings of national contests and do some further good concerts

 

Away from Littleport what else do you like to do?

Swimming & cinema, playing jazz trumpet, teaching music, eating out or at home tasting my partners delicious cooking (thanks Steve), also teaching brass, piano, recorder to the classroom
